Z5500 + X-Fi sound card

Ok i got my card and my speakers, just want to know if u were to use the digital out on the sound card to the digital in on the speakers will it make much of a difference than having the 3 other jacks (donno what they called but the colours are orange, black and green) that it comes with?

And will the out put by the sound card still be 5.1 cuz on one of the manuals that come with the card on how to plug everything in the only digital speakers that it showed/had there were 2.1 speakers.

with digital you wont get 5.1 in your games ... unless u upmix the two channel output on your z5500 pod thingy ... but it aint true 5.1 ... the analogs sound very very good .... im using analog most of the time even though i have the digital connected ... i use the digital only for movies cause then i get dolby or dts sound ... and nothing sounds better than dts ...
 
ahhh... hmmm... only problem now is if i have digital and want my mic i have to plug it in the frount which is not the best. But thanks anyways.

stick then with the analogs, i switched between the two i.e. digital and analog during a movie and to be honest it sounded pretty much the same...
