my PC specs

MSI 880GMA-E45
8 GB DDR3 @ 1600
MSI radeon HD 6850
1.5 TB HD space
Amd athlon x3 455 with a CoolerMaster Hyper TX3, RR-910-HTX3-GP CPU cooling

anyways noticed when my case is closed my CPU and GPU run 5-10 degrees hotter, and im assuming its because of the airflow in my PC's case, at the moment ive got a Huntkey Case not sure what model it is but its a small case everything barely just fits in.

budget: none. also i was thinking of getting a case like the NZXT phantom case

the Phantom is definitely not a bad choice.

something like a Corsair 800D or 650D would also suite well.

maybe even a Corsair 600T.

If you want really good airflow for a cheapish price, look at the Coolermaster Enforcer, you will need to get a megaflow 200mm for the top.
+1 on Coolermasters

Aerocool also make some well ventilated cases with good airflow.

Your biggest issue is not just looking for a case with good airflow, but also for one that has very good filters to go with the airflow. When I was a haf fanboy, sure the airflow was amazing, but it didn't matter how good the airflow was after a few weeks with dust piling up raising temps. The haf series and aerocool series have wonderful airflow but horrible filters and yes that includes the haf-x.

Love the filters on my cosmos II and it has more airflow than one would imagine just lloking at the case from the outside, even better than the haf-x
