Apple/Motorola legal saga in Germany continues

Almost as ridiculous as "round corners".
 
The one positive thing I'd like to see come out of all this patent mess, is a quicker turnaround time to firmware updates. If all the OEMs are suing each other, they will be forced to implement fixes/workarounds in the OS/firmware to avoid patent litigation and paying royalties. This should result in greater efficiency in rolling out updates. Or so I hope.

Interesting point. Or it could just mean they take longer as they actually have to do their homework. But I doubt that will be the outcome
