Someone please help me!

Our Telkom account is on my wifes' name and she's been physically going into a Telkom store every month to make payments.

Today, they tell her after standing in a line for nearly 45 minutes, that they no longer take payments in store (WTF!)

Anyway, I registered her details on the Telkom website had a browse around in the account 'features' and there is no bank details on the site or on the bill which she receives via email.

Is there anyway we can pay these fuuckers online, via FNB ?

Yes

Add Telkom as a recipient. They are predefined as a public recipient. Put in the reference number shown on your account and make a payment. Easy as pie.

On the back of each page on your statement are payment options, including how to use Internet banking

You should be able to pay online via your FNB credit/cheque card. I do it each month. Their interface is a bit hard to work with because even after paying them like this for almost 6 years, I also still get lost in where to click to actually pay it.

Look for "View Bill online" this will allow you to pay it like that

Rather pay the telkom bill via EasyPay (www.easypay.co.za). It is free to use and they accept credit cards/bank EFTs/their VCpay product.
You can also pay your bill @ any EasyPay location, such as pick'npay/spar/shoprite.

Go to the top tabs, Payments, on the left hand side you'll see 'Once off payment'. Easy peasy from there.

I've just phoned Telkom as I wasn't sure what to put in the recipient reference.

They told me I must look at my invoice, then at the bottom left of the first page (below the barcode)

You must enter just the Group number, System number & Payment code (consecutively with no spaces)

If you're paying late, It also helps to phone them after the transaction so they can log? the transaction so that your line doesn't go down on you.

Apparently there is a reconnection fee? anyone know how much this is?

I was about to pay using EasyPay with my credit card to earn eBucks, registered etc but couldn't find where to pay using the site? is this possible? if not.. it's not very EASY ffs :)

So paid now online, will earn eBucks next month hopefully
