Prob with axxess or seacom or where?

Hey anyone having issues with axxess or there line going slow all of a sudden ? I been on 10meg for quite awhile but tonight I hardly getting 200k , I restarted router n all that n well just wondering if it a local prob to me or something. I in durban like a block away from exchange.

Same here, phoned twice already. Axxess says it is IS, waiting for IS to resolve. Well, like I say, we can wait for trees to grow money and it is not going to produce a dime. Phone again I said, its no help sitting and waiting for IS. Hmm, 1 hour later, and still natta. Wonder if the guy did phone IS back. This is just fricken awsome, paying R1400+ p.m. for this account and line combined and tonight it is as slow as my 1995 modem. And they call this progress. Old sneaker net is the best, at this rate I can walk with crutches to the Video store and back and will be able to watch a movie faster than waiting for youtube.

Unfortunately there is currently a Telkom backbone fault causing issues.

Engineers are attending.
 
This is what Axxess got on their site -

We are aware of the slow speeds being experienced by our Uncapped Express clients. We have reported the issue to Internet Solutions, there escalations team are currently investigating.

Well it is now the 9th and it is still unresolved. There are some companies giving IT a bad name in this country. Now Axxess, IS, Telkom and Openweb get mention, and none can fix it. Where does that leave the customer? Should we go to ICASA? Are they worth anything? Do I get refunded if they don't provide service?
 
Well let's hope they fix today so we can enjoy the weekend on our lines
