Buying a Acer Aspire AS8950G good idea?

So i have been looking at alot of laptops and cam to the conclusion of buying a Acer Aspire AS8950G, getting it for 15k and most prob on monday, is there any alternatives before i go through with this just incase i missed something, don't want anything smaller than a 17" and for gaming and photoshop purposes(why i like the 18.4" screen)

Warranty?

I would stick to Dell/Asus when paying that much. Minimum 3 - 2 year warranty.

Dell XPS17.
 
i can't find the xps on laptop direct?only xps 15

nvm my fail, id like that hp envy 17 too though, but cant find it, im really confused now, im still leaning towards the aspire though hmmm i dunno.
