That plant manager is a hero. He ignored his boss's order to abandon the plant- which would have led to catastrophe.

Yeah, extend the hate the Danish people too. Total of 130 million people you don't care about because a few of them kill whales.

and you know what I care about? right so then by the comments you make you think its OK to slaughter them......anyone who slaughtersinnocent animals like that deserve to be slaughtered themselves. Danish, Japanese and whoever else thinks its their right to do this. happy now?

Marine I know this is a touchy subject for you, but every animal that is killed for food is innocent. Why aren't you boycotting the human race then? Yes, Japanese whaling is a barbaric practice, but no more culturally than what we do in abattoirs and game farms in South Africa.

On Topic: I feel they did the right thing in this instance. Imagine if nothing happened and they had evacuated those thousands of people for nothing. It would have been embarrassing to say the least.
