Palestinians fire over 100 rockets at Israeli civilian targets, forces schools to be closed and over 200,000 children forced to stay at home.
I wonder how any country would react in this kind of situation?
Israel on their part, showing great pin point accuracy in taking out missle cells and various other targets with minimal civilian casulaties from their part, and their iron dome missil defence system intercepting 90% of Palestinian missiles targeting populated areas.
This tit for tat escalation started with an unprovacked mortar attack by Palestinians against Israel on Friday with a great response from Israel taking out the leader of PRC General Secretary Zohair al-Qaisi, responsible for the kidnapping of shalit and the terror attack from Sinai last year that killed 8 Israelis.

Two Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip on Friday killed 12 and injured 19 Palestinians in a day of cross-border fighting.

The first strike killed the head of the Popular Resistance Committees armed group and a fellow member, the group said.

The second strike killed two members of the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, Al Arabiya correspondent reported.

The PRC General Secretary Zohair al-Qaisi was one of two Palestinians killed in the first strike, along with fellow-member Mahmoud Halani, Al Arabiya reported.

Medical officials told AFP a third man was seriously wounded in the attack on a car travelling in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, west of Gaza City, hours after Palestinians fired mortar rounds into Israel.

Locals said Halani originally came from the West Bank and had been freed from an Israeli jail last year as part of a prisoner swap deal to gain the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

If confirmed, he would be the first of the 1,000 Palestinian prisoners freed in the deal to be killed by an Israeli strike.

Israel often launches retaliatory attacks after missiles are fired at its territory from Gaza, which is run by the Islamist group Hamas.

The Israeli military said Qaisi “was among the leaders who planned, funded and directed” a deadly cross-border attack into southern Israel from Egypt’s Sinai last August, among other operations.

In that incident, gunmen carried out a coordinated series of shooting ambushes on buses and cars on Route 12, which runs along the Egyptian border some 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of the Red Sea resort of Eilat.

The attacks took place over several hours, leaving eight dead and more than 25 wounded.

The statement added that both the dead men were “responsible for planning a combined terror attack that was to take place via Sinai in the coming days.”

More than 110 rockets have been fired at Israel from Gaza since Friday. 33 rockets have been shot down by the Iron Dome, which is designed to only intercept rockets identified as heading toward populated areas.

Sometimes I think these Palestinians love to fight... you see them far more often throwing rocks and firing missiles than you do at the peace negotiation table.

it's a hard debate, but respect to Israel with how they handle it

Either no comment from the idiot crowd or they will come and blame the US somehow .......

Is Gaza still blockaded? That is a declaration of war in itself by Israel. This **** will continue.

Gary stop being hypocritical, there are no innocent sides in the sh@thole that is the Israeli conflict. The Isreali's seem to like a good fight as much as the Palestinians. The fact that these assh0les from both sides have cheerleaders all over the world picking sides and turning a blind eye to the atrocities committed by their team isn't healthy either.

If Israel had used slightly different wording, really not enough to make a change in practice but enough to make a change in principal, guys like Aqua could not make the argument that the "blockade" is an act of war, because the blockade is more a quarantine than anything and a quarantine is perfectly legal. See Cuban Missile Crisis.

Yeah, when your neighbours have pledged to "wipe you off the face of the earth" and as proof have actually invaded your country three times... it tends to make you a bit defensive! ;)

War and what not aside, having a missle defence system that shoots down 90% of the missles is freaking awesome!

What i don't get is why nobody bothers to post why there was an attack on israel.

Israel killed a palestinian prior to the rockets being fired. Now i know many think it is fine for israel to kill targets but don't come crying if they hit back.

They escalated this violence again but of course that would be left out of the OP due to nobody bothering to ask why they fired 100 rockets. They killed him for planning attacks, wonderful how israel can murder anyone they like but the palestinians are bad when they retaliate and do the same. Do more research before you make yourself look foolish, israel started it this time. It amazes me how people see good and bad in this situation, there is only bad from both sides.

Pathetic OP that paints palestinians as aggressors while israel were the aggressors.

I just saw the israeli's just thwarted yet another attack- they hit the piece of shyte before he could launch the rockets - now that's precision.

Well done to the iaf for stopping these mad lunatics

Keep throwing stones at a big kid, and one day he'll turn around and wtfpwn you with a missile barrage.

Palestine needs to calm the hell down before it gets turned into parking lot!

oh, wait, but you you fail to mention that prior to the Palestinian you mention above being killed, who wasn't an innocent bystander but the head of the terror group that amongst others killed 8 Israelis and abducted shalit (well done to Israel on taking that scum out) this happened:
Earlier Friday, Palestinian armed groups in Gaza fired two projectiles into southern Israel without causing any casualties or damage, the military said.

So no, in fact, as usual, the aggressor were the Palestinians, who also, as usual get hit harder back and then cry foul.

So Israel all good and innocent, Palestine all bad and guilty.

Some things never change.

Wouldn't it be nice if everything was so black and white.

It is so white and black, go and read and see the truth, some little terrorist piece of SH yte got taken out and then his zombie buddies decided to send a couplf of hundred rockets to Israel. Israel then retaliates and the Arabs once again cry
