An extension of what was said on Carte Blanche Sunday.

Last week Telkom, the only fixed-line company operating in South Africa, revealed its plan to invest R30billion in fixed-line expenditure over the next five years.

"I can't see that this will lower costs for Internet users," said Goldstuck. "Rather, it will improve Telkom's competitiveness as a company."

and this is why they can NEVER be competitive. They totally misunderstand the concept and what it is consumers want.
