hi there.
im wondering if there are other people who bought this tab and thought there would be a update.well
i did buy it and i did think there would be a update...my front cam wasnt working...i searched the internet and was told with a update to gingerbread the front cam should work on most camera apps i logged a complaint on hellopeter website and i had someone from samsung head office phone me .
i then got told they have no idea if and when this tab would get a update...i told the guy and the lady that without a software update this tab will be useless eventually especially with apps and maybe also flash player.
i then searched the internet and found a gingerbread 2.3.6 available from the uk...so i downloaded it from

i installed it ...and i just wanna tell u it worked perfectly...nothing wrong at all...but doin this voids ur warrenty.
but i did this to prove to samsung that we need a upgrade and id still like to know why we have never received 1 in south africa.
i told the guys from samsung if something happens to the tab and it costs me thousands to fix...i will send the tab back to them in a black bag in a thousand pieces and they can then throw it in the recycle bin with the rest of there trash.
so everyone whos waiting for a update its available from the uk and it works perfect
