It is going to be very interesting to see the reaction and impact it will have come monday. Iran seem to have done fairly well considering they have been sanctioned for the last 3 decades. I wonder how badly this will hit oil pricing.
What would be really interesting to see is whether they can get by using gold.

Blocking those who support a repressive regime (that does not itself support freedom of speech) from interacting financially with that regime has less to do with Freedom of Speech and more to do with coercing them to open up to freedoms. If you can't see that, then perhaps you should try reviewing your personal views on freedom.

Actually I think the yanks are full of s##it most of the time. Do I love the west? No. I prefer the west. It's where I choose to live. It's not perfect. But better than most.

You are hypocritical as someone like Malema who decries the suffering black people endured under apartheid and then goes on to demand the oppression of whites, as if 2 wrongs make a right.
You don't want people in the Muslim world to live peaceful and reasonably comfortable lives. If you did you would have spoken out against the Syrian govt. I'm not saying you have to speak out against every tyrant, but you try to defend the Syrian govt.
You don't care who kills and murders muslim women and children as long as it isn't an American.
