India was the world's leading arms importer, while the United States and Russia accounted for about half of the world's arms transfers between 2007 and 2011, a Swedish-based research institute said Monday.
The volume of world arms transfers increased by 24 per cent in the five-year period when compared to 2002-2006, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) said.

Pakistan is pulling in 3rd for the most weapons imported, so no... I don;t think Pakistan Generals are too worried [it wont be them on the front lines anyway].
