I booked a chalet at Hengelaars Vriend fishing resort (http://www.hengelaarsvriend.co.za/) 2 months prior to arrival date. Four days before the weekend, Carla phoned my to say that they have double booked me and that I cannot come anymore. They tried to give me another weekend, but I said no and asked for a refnd of my R1500
After many email, phone calls, promise and already a month later, I still don't have my money back.
Logged a complaint with the Consumer Protection Commision, but nothing from them yet.
Anyway, just a warning about Hengelaars Vriend to stay away and NEVER book a place with them.
