Hi All ,

I in desperate need of help ,I live in the Honeydew area and have been struggeling with vodacom for nearly 2 years now ,I repeatedly log requests for them to look at and they keep closing my requests setting it to resolved when my problem is not resolved .

I have a request for this open for the last 1,5 years and they still have not done anything about it , I even resorted to hellopeter ,but vodacom just responded with "A consultant will contact you in due course " ,I am tired of dealing with call centres and feel lik takig the modem and shuffing it ......

I even tried to cancel the contract on the ground of non delivery of the promised service .I have tried to no avail to get them to come and install a booster in my house ,but they really are just a bunch of clowns and don't give a S#t

Does soomeone have an alternative that has decent enough connection speeds to allow one to play xbox online ?

The only advice I can give you is keep trying - sometimes it does take years to get someone to pay attention!

They're terrible. I thought MTN was bad until I tried Vodacom. Do you know anyone with MTN or Cell C so you can test their signal quality where you live? I'm not sure any of them will be good enough for a reliable high speed connection though.

Hi , Can you kindly pm me your number so i can follow up on your previous request.

I also have a Cell C stick and and the same applies ,although I must say that in general their service is much better where stay ,however on cloudy days or during the evenings in peak time when the nearest tower gets bombarded ,Cell C is also dead in the water.

I work remotel;y amnd therefore need a decent connection hwoever I am forced to stay at the office as a result of the bad connection speeds .

It seem like I am in a hole where I live and the only way out out is to get telkom ,the sleeves in the conduits for the telkom lines are already in the complex ,and there is a telkom box right out the gate of the complex ,the only trick is how to get telkom to respond to and start investigating the possibility of laying the cables and putting in place the infrastructure ,I know of a lot of people in the complex that wants and needs a DSL line

Does anyone know who we /I need to contact ?

good luck, you are about half way there, it took me 4 years with lots of shouting and performing on the call center
self though that someone would of listened to my calls, as all calls are suppose to be recorded

hello peter , does not help with vodacom

looks like you might get help here

however when calling the call center, after a persisting problem one needs to ask and demand to speak to a manager, 1st they will give you a team leader, then after fighting maybe a manager

however in the end a booster was fitted at my home, its not perfect, its 95% better, and can live with the way it is

good luck:o
