Nashua Vodacom VS Vodacom SP on Topup Data

I'm with Nashua Mobile on a Vodacom Blackberry 100 contract. I'm selling the Torch and want to migrate to a Top-Up 400.

I also don't want to purchase extra data bundles, but use a portion of the R400 to buy a data bundle, and use the rest for voice calls.

Vodacom agents say that I can do it, but Nashua agents say I cant, and need to recharge and use that to buy bundels. My wife is also on top-up and I was just able to buy a bundle?

What the ....? Who is right? :confused:
 
With Vodacom SP you may use your monthly airtime that you get from Vodacom to buy data bundles. As for Nashua...i can not say as they are a completely different service provider and have their own system. Cannot deny or confirm. You will need to seek clarity from them I am affraid unless VodacomData knows how Nashua works.
 
Clarity.....Is not word in the Nashua dictionary :( I just received this tweet from @Vodacom111 : "@JPJord Hi Jan. Yes, you can convert your allocated Top Up airtime to a data bundle. ^UW"

And I phoned my local Nashua Mob. shop, and I get the complete opposite answer. Ai :(
 
Move to VSP these side show players have always been a problem.
 
It's not an option at the moment, as I have a contract till September 2013. Gotta make the best of the situation, but believe me, if it wasn't for the 10% back in Ebucks I would never have moved to them :(

I confirmed with Nashua , you are able to purchase data bundles from your monthly airtime allocation.
