Article: Zuma to meet Kasparov

President Jacob Zuma will meet former world chess champion Gary Kasparov at his official Pretoria residence, the presidency said on Thursday.

Kasparov, president of the Kasparov Chess Foundation, would meet Zuma briefly on Friday, spokesman Bongani Majola said.
 
How appropriate that he meets the great chess master... Seeing as Zuma is just a pawn for the ANC
 
I think Zuma misheard and thinks that Kasparov is a master of using porn.
 
Zuma thinks he will raise the quality of his image by associating with the likes of Kasparov.

Unfortunately some people are not so easily fooled.

There's an old Afrikaans saying; "Al dra 'n aap 'n goue ring, hy is en bly 'n lelike ding".
 
Nice to see Zuma doing something useful for a change, even though he probably doesn't know what he's doing

Be careful Picard, you might be accused of calling Zuma an ape, I noticed that many people don't like it when we get clever and creative with our words.

I don't understand why he should meet Kasparov of all people, does Mr Zuma play chess ?
It is not about chess, it is about politics:

Kasparov was among the 34 first signatories and a key organiser of the online anti-Putin campaign "Putin must go", started on 10 March 2010.

On January 31, 2012 Kasparov hosted a meeting of opposition leaders planning a mass march on February 4, 2012, the third major opposition rally held since the disputed State Duma elections of December 2011.

Perhaps to get tips, how to get rid of Putin ?

I doubt whether local protest procedures would work in Russia, those Russian can be very very tough and they are quick to it.
