Hi
We always had the Tv in our bedroom connected via our old VCR which had various outputs which made getting the DSTV's channels to the room easy. Now recently due to all the power outages we've been having the VCR finally died. It gave me the motivation to finally connect my AV amp and a few other things I've been too lazy to get going (I'll post a thread when everything is nicely setup :D)

In any case everything now connects to the TV in the lounge via the HDMI cable and all the HDMI inputs for various devices go into the AV AMP. I've been trying to figure out what is the best way to connect the bedroom TV so we can at least watch DSTV. Any Ideas....?

Here is also a pic of the back of the AMP: (Onkyo NR-609)

Just connect the tv out on the back of the decoder to the bedroom TV.

There will be an RF Out, which shouldn't be connected to anything at the moment? It looks the same as the inputs for the LNB, this uses an f-connector. So f-connector to the decoder and a normal male plug to the TV in the bedroom, just plug it into the cable that goes to the bedroom, the one that was previously plugged in the VCR.

OK so I connected the cable from the bedroom tv to the RF out on the PVR but it's not picking it up. I'm wondering if that is because there is no cable going into the RF "in"....? The two LNB cables currently go into the two satellite inputs on the PVR.....

Ja hell I don't know either. Will keep on fiddling though.

Forgot to add I got this sorted out. One of the cables got disconnected midway during the whole hoorah so it worked well after I reconnected it. :)
