A woman who alleged she was gang raped while pregnant was arrested and imprisoned during the trial because she refused to give evidence, it can now be revealed.

During the trial the eastern European woman was made stand directly in front of the three accused and identify each one, a highly unusual practice. The next day she left a note for her partner saying she was so terrified she could not face coming to court again.

Eh? How is this news? Person lays a criminal complaint, goes to court and refuses to give evidence? That's more than enough reason for a night in the cell.
 
Knowing the courts she was probably terrified of them taking revenge once getting off scot free any how??

I'm just not getting it. Let's look at the facts. Woman opens a criminal court case. Later on she refuses to give evidence on the case, which is grounds for opening a case against her for fruad. Tell me where I went wrong?
