Hi since the price of adsl in SA has fallen sharply since it was rolled out in SA. I was wondering if anybody here streams, or anybody knows anyone who streams these channels?

I'm after it for not so much international programming. (I can get that on torrent sites).

I can get Multichoice content from DStv ondemand with SA proxy.

But rather Local programming, such as 7 De Laan, Noot Vir Noot Maybe the evening news bulletin. and that is not available on Torrent sites that I know of, and believe me I have searched the internet dry. The SABC have recently pulled the plug on the SABC news bulletin they offered it online for years.

I have been searching on and off for such links for years, but I have been unsuccessful.

Does anyone know?

Thanks

Multichoice has a R19 a month package with those channels.

Yeah I know they do, and I would be happy paying them R19 a month. However I can't get them, because I stay on the other side of the world. :(

Looks like when a South African leaves the country the saying "'n boer maak 'n plan" also flies out the window. Surely you have some family left in SA who would be happy to oblige a R19 a month subscription on their name for you to use to stream to where you live now?

Yeah I have plenty of family and friends in SA, who would quite happily oblige to paying a R19 for DSTV content for me.
However, most of the people I know don't have an ADSL line fast enough to handle it. They either have a 384k line or 1mb, and not capped. Also most of my family in SA arn't that technology savy, when it comes to streaming stuff. So they wouldn't know what they are doing. Just wondering is there any one here who would be willing to stream? I would gladly pay a small amount, for bandwith costs. Plus with the time difference, It will go unused in most of day becuase that's our night time. Mostly in the evenings, and over night.
