Apple offers refund to Australian iPad buyers

This should happen in SA as well. A lot of people are already talking about using 4G saying it is faster, yet they do not know that there is no network with 4G!
 
It hasn't officially been released here yet so they will probably amend that bit bout 4G when it is launched.

They'll probably just add "subject to availability".
 
Has the iPad officially been launched in SA?
I thought the ones in circulation are direct imports. Surely this means that Apple is exempt from having to re-imburse people for the ones that are in the country?

Apple doesn't operate in SA. So whoever imports them will be subject to SA law, not Apple.
This will probably be The Core Group, and whatever other importers exist
 
I think most people would want to keep their iPads anyway :p
