Yeah but all they do is slap tiny little fines on companies while the companies continue to operate as before. (look at the BMW fine for example)

The last one they slap on Telkom was R3bn !

competition commision mean serious business these days.

They must fine contraventions more severly (at least threatening to do) might deter them from price-fixing.

competition commision can not do the job alone, this matter need public focus & pressure

consumers must converge .

united we will win .

Did telkom ever actually pay this - or did they just tie it up in the courts - until someone loses the file - or they forget what the thing was about in the first place.

I hope this probe is the start of something real.
