Surely there must be some limits as to how much can be spent on a vehicle for the mayor.

the thing that really gets me is that she already had decent transport....a free BMW (dunno what model, but probably not shabby)

so, the cow has a car already. a car that works. But she would rather be like every other african elitist government member and be dashed around in a black merc.

hope they put little flags on the front of the car....cant have a gov. car without the little flags you know...

everytime she drives past a beggar I hope she ends up puking for fscking wasting R1mil

Previously disadvantaged seems to give politicians carte blanche to do whatever they want guilt free.
 
So let me get this right:

The Mayor has for the past few years had a sponsored vehicle from BMW. In other words doesnt cost the tax payers anything and also doesnt waste funds that could be better spent elsewhere.

Now this new cow of a mayoress now decides that a FREE BMW isnt good enough and that she should spend nearly one million Rands of someone elses money (ours) on something that depreciates?

Have I understood this correctly?

If I have then it begs the question: Who the fark allows this to happen?
