call me a dumb american....but I think that name is terrible.
Everytime I go there, I can't bring myself to say it (unless I want to fustrate the father-in-law that lives there). It is just too long of a name.

EDIT - on a related note - according to its website Nelson Mandela Bay (or The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality) is home to Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage and Despatch. PE therefore still exists as PE and as part of the NMMM.
