Failing to upload flash site to afrihost domain with auroraflash.

Hey guys,

I am not a website designer, nor do I have any experience in doing so. I know nothing about flash, php and the like. So I googled flash website design software and stumbled upon auroraflash.org and gave it a try. Very easy to change the templates as they are just uploaded into the program, and then you can modify the site.

Whats been happening is, as soon as I try and upload it to my site through afrihost, it gets to a certain point and then says error: cannot create folder.

When I upload through filezilla, it transfers the file, but nothing changes on the site. Aurora saves the template as one file, and not the usual list of files associated with a website. However, when uploading, it transfers a whole bunch of files. But like I said, it stops and I get the error messages.

I have also downloaded another template that comes as a list of website files, instead of the .afp file that the program saves your work as, but again, it also fails to create that folder.

any idea whats happening here?
Also, if anyone knows of a damn easy program I can use to design via drag and drop and then upload onto my site, please let me know.

Are you publishing to the public_html folder ?

Also cpanel hosted accounts comes with a site builder this I would say is your best bet, pm me and I can sort you out if you want t go this route

also check that the hosting package you have, allows to have the minimum requirements to host that flash site

Yup, I am publishing to the public.html folder, but still with no luck. The reason why I have gone the flash root is because I find that those site builders have extremely limited designs. Looks cheap.

I was using weebly last night, and that seems to be a bit better, just waiting for my dns to be updated to see if it all works out.
