I had my first taste of the new larger type taxis Government wants.
It was terrible...
They are bigger meaning the driver can be even more aggresive in pushing standard sedan vehicles of the road if he needs space.
I'm predicting an even bigger roads disasster coming than we have at present - due to governments regulations to protect the people.

Hold the owners responsible instead of just the drivers ... that'll force them [owners] to play with the laws of the road.
I was thinking of getting a Unimorg, if the new taxi becomes a problem, I propably will have to get one.

Lots of them new ones round Menlyn shopping centre, the drivers visibility looks to be less than the old ones at the rear and sides. But the drivers drive more carefully and responsibly from what I have seen, probably cause they are still new...

Actually I'm a firm believer in recycling, so I'll be using the taxi's diesel after persuading it to leave the road ;)

I find those new things with their turbo diesels to be faster than the old Hi-Aces. So now that they are faster AND able to carry more passengers we should be seeing some spectacular wipeouts...
