I need to do some wiring in a Cape Town flat. I'll need to run CAT6 and coax cable to around a dozen points in a flat of around 200sqm, for Ethernet and very simple HDMI distribution (two points; maybe three). If possible, I'd like to try to run as much of the cable as possible through the walls and install some wall plates.

I have a pretty good understanding of the cabling I need, and how that all fits together. But I have no idea how to even approach the physical install, and don't know who to speak to. Can anyone recommend a company/person who could come in and do this kind of thing? All the companies I've found online seem to be targeted at large structured cabling work, and it feels like using them may cost more than I need to pay.

Recommendations?

I've managed a few similar installations (well, we just did the CAT5 and CAT6, in addition to phone extension lines). We just used electricians to do the actual cabling for us, since they're well experienced in getting cables through walls, ceilings, etc.

Out of interest - why all the CAT6? Is it for the network backbone, or do you want to run CAT6 to the end-user? In which case that might be overkill. CAT6 for a main backbone is great, however. We use CAT6 to link our buildings together (huge office complex), but then run CAT5 within each building. It depends on the distance the cable needs to go before passing through a switch or repeater, though.
