5.1 Surround for medium sized living room

Hi guys,

I have been looking at these two options for surround via my PC in the living room:

The LG has HDMI in and out but the Logitech (only Optical, Coax and Analogue) seems like it might be the more robust system.

I'd like to hear opinions on which is better and why - or if I should go for something else entirely.

Bear in mind I don't want a Bluray / DVD included.

Also my PC has Ati HD sound via HDMI (6870) as well as a X-fi Fatality Xtremegamer (Spdif and analogue)

Would it be better to push my movies and music out via the ATI or the X-fi (Games are secondary)

That LG looks good for that price I think. Where is that available from?

Thanks guys, I went and had a look n listen during lunch. The Logitech isn't very impressive especially as it's original price is R5999.00.

I think I'll go for the LG unless anyone has a better deal / idea.

not just name dropping here, but those Sony HTIB's are awesome!
850w version and above.

They run it all the time though, so keep checking their site. I remember it being R7,000 towards the end of last year across all stores, with no limit on the amount of customers. It's still the best home theatre deal in the country IMO.

I was kicking myself when I saw they went up, should have got them.
