Obama Clears The Military To Kill Almost Anyone By Drone In Yemen

The President is now allowing the CIA and the military to launch drone strikes against targets in Yemen without actually knowing who will be killed in the attack.

Greg Miller at The Washington Post reports Obama approved the use of "signature" strikes this month and the new authority allows the CIA and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) to kill people based on their "intelligence signatures" — simply patterns of behavior found through electronic eavesdropping, watching suspects from the drone, and information from sources on the ground that point to a "plot against U.S. interests."

The ACLU is still actively seeking the truth about Obama's first 2009 strike in Yemen that is said to have killed 41 people, including 21 children and 14 women.

Sometimes I wonder if Obi is not a 'conservative republican' under cover :D Looking at his decisions regarding Africa in particular, I can not come to a different conclusion. He clearly showed the middle finger to most of his expecting 'comrades'.

He is very pro Arab.

It is worth remembering that you did not support him before election when you didn't know his views on the issues you raised. When asked why you said it was because you thought he lacked experience even when he was running against someone who lacked experience as McCain had neve run a country either.

Just pointing out some good old dishonesty.

Why do you think he is pro islam? please don't tell me his father or skin colour made you think it.

What makes you think he is anti israel? Is it because he does not lick their ass like previous presidents? Disagreeing with israel on certain issues doesn't make him anti israel. Although marine anyone who disagrees with israel hates jews so obama must hate jews according to your logical thought process.

I thought Obama was exactly what the US needed at the time, I really thought the man just might take America in a new direction.

But come on folks, actions speak louder than words; as sad and angry as it is makes me, Obama is nothing more than an iron fist in a velvet glove. A continuation of everything Bush stood for.

War in Iran under Obama? Time will tell, especially given that his administration openly declare they don't require congress approval to start a war.
