Seeing we finally got our own sub-forum i would like opinions on what threads to create in order to get an organized view of the GW threads.
For starters i suggest creating TWO threads, one for BUYING ITEMS and other for SELLING ITEMS.
What do you guys think?
Good idea, maybe another thread for general Price checking.

Personally i dont wanna see too many sub forums in this subforum.
1. Classifieds
And the main thread for general stuff.
Further to that, i dont see the Classifieds being that busy either. Selling your warez in that thread is reaching a much smaller market than in game GW trade channel.
But that's my 5c

it's normally 2c...
I do think trading should be segmented, price check, buy and sell
selling ingame is almost impossible... maybe not a selling forum, but a forum for "requests". Then one can bowse and see what items people are looking for, and can pm them to sell.. otherwise i agree.. it becomes all a bit much.

yeah, the requests forum could be the best.

personally, I would not use a 'requests' thread, only what is buying / selling and price checking

Are you talking about 3 different threads? ie: one for 'Want to sell', one for 'Want to buy', and one for 'Price check'?
Or combine all this into one thread?

3 different ones.
I think it is going to get hap-hazard as the thread progresses with all 3 and then trying to keep up with who is selling what, for how many and who is buying, etc.

so how about we keep the current selling thread and see how that goes?
i suppose any sales get done via PM anyhow to clutter the thread a bit less?

yup, maybe just after the sale has been done via pm. you should make one final post to say 'item sold'. Just so its clear.
Or maybe even edit your original post and indicate what has been sold and what is still available?

mmm... its going to be hard for people to browse back to the original post.
maybe like you mentioned earlier, post a newer post with a list of items still available.

Trade Channel.
You hit enter with your AD and within 2 seconds it's offscreen again. Trade channel is too cluttered.

So true, thats why I tend to spam... takes a while for the sale to bite.. maybe i'm just lucky :p

It's ppl like you guys that give us SOLID traders a bad name ... :p
I have to agree with lilDeath. I have a policy never to buy from anybody advertising in the normal channel. :D
hey! I spam the TRADE channel, so buy from me :p
Have clubbed in with some guildies yesterday for some guild hall upgrades, so at the moment I cannot buy anything, whatever the channel. :(

Nope, but that's not the point :D
You are always welcome to hand over spare money. :D We just bought storage and a merchant. The rest seemed like a waste of money.
Edit: Sorry for not asking. A couple of us were online and said something for the hall would be nice, so we quickly spent some money. An impulse buy. :D

how much did storage cost?
The storage agent was 10K and the merchant 25K if I remember correctly.

There is whole list of stuff. Basically all the NPC's one get in the major towns. If you want to see the list, go to the guild hall and talk to the guild lord there and you will see the list.

don't know if this has been suggested yet, but i think a nice thread to have would be where u can ask those who know, to give price checks on items.
if we do have ppl here that posess that kind of knowledge, i think it would be helpful :)
