Hello All

I can get the following for R5,500

"MECER NOTEBOOK
MECER XPRESSION 15.6" CHIEF RI
INTEL SANDY BRIDGE CI5-2450M 2
4GB DDR3 1333 204PIN MEMORY
2.5'' 500GB 5400RPM SATA HARD"

Is that a good price of should I look for another deal?

If the warranty is 1 year I would stay away, Mecer isn't very high on my list of good brands.

Mecer's generally come with a 2 year warranty but there is 1 notebook model that comes with a 1 year warranty.
That model that you mentioned doesn't seem to exist though, so not sure what model you're looking at.

Mecer's can also be bought without an OS so I'd check to see if it has a windows 7 license as well, for that price I don't think it has a Windows license or has Home Basic on it.
 
Not a bad price for that specific model, the cheapest it retails for is R5800.

But I agree, Mecer is not something I'd recommend.

Well for R6400 you can get this Toshiba
They have it here for R6152 but I've never heard of them so I wouldn't recommend them
