I have to buy a gift for my friend (female) who is turning 34.

I have no idea what to buy. She loves books but we regularly loan books to each other so buying one for her birthday as well would be just blah.

Clothing/jewellery/perfume is a personal choice and easy to get wrong.

She loves travel and recently went on a trip to Europe.

Help please :)

Voucher for home affairs for passport renewal?! ;)

j/k. I feel your pain. I hate buying gifts because I really battle to think of things the other person would enjoy. Mainly because my tastes and theirs are generally so different that anything catching my eye most likely wouldn't interest them.

How about something small from Carrol Boyes?

34 and loves to travel? Give her my number ;)

Ok ok ok, I'm a lecher, blah blah blah.

Digital photo frame? She can showcase her travel photos. A travelling case (maybe some posh carry on bag, monogrammed?)

Get a coffee table book for her. It's much nicer than the normal books you lend back and forth.

Funnily enough I also have to buy something for a friend tonight and he is also 34.

I usually spend more than an hour everytime at the mall comparing various things.
