Durban - Durban advocate Mvuseni Ngubane has been found dead at his home in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Sunday.

Lieutenant colonel Vincent Mdunge said Ngubane was found with a gunshot wound to the head at around 15:00 on Saturday. He said there was a pistol next to the body.

"Police found a suicide note near his body. Some parts of the letter were not readable due to bloodstains."

Mdunge said family members found Ngubane on the back seat of his Mercedes-Benz in the garage. Paramedics declared him dead on the scene.

Ngubane handled high profile cases including that of convicted drug dealer Cheryl Cwele, the wife of State Security Minister Siyabonga Cwele.

The SABC reported that Ngubane had served on various boards and committees. He was a former president of the Black Lawyers' Association and chaired the Law Society of SA.

Did he fall or was he pushed.

Strange things happening in our country.

Wait till the truth comes out, that's probably why he did it/or he didn't.

Just wanna see if I have this right:

1. Sheryl Cwele's husband is the Minister of State Security.
2. Mvuseni Ngubane, the deceased advocate, handled Cwele's wife's court case.
3. Mrs Cwele was convicted and sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Hmmmmmmmmm................

This guy was also on the panel that is investigating the arms deal from what I heard this morning. Smoking gun much?

Sheryl Cwele's husband is the Minister of State Security.

Ex-husband.
I think he's trying to get as far away from any connection to her as possible.

But the connection to the arms deal is interesting.

I know Uncle Mvuseni personally he wouldn't kill himself for no reason. Something BIG must have happened... And we will find out. He had it all going for him. big shot law man, beautiful kids, wife, cash you name it...
