Sexwale's Mvela paid Malema

For 100k? They made a donation. There is nothing here. Sure it could be a payment but the trail has been covered well and you cannot go after anyone for donations, even more so if they do donate on the odd occasion.

Sexwale is one of the most intelligent men in the ANC, he wants to be president. I think he realizes how much support malema has. He is playing it very well because zuma is the enemy now and if sexwale can look like a buddy with malema the votes will roll in for him. You may find sexwale will bail malema out of his tax issues. It would prove a very good move if you want to be president. Remember sexwale doesn't like zuma and will do anything it takes to take zuma on and malema was a good bet, either way being buddies with malema could only end well.

Sexwale hasn't made so much money riding a gravy train, sure the train helped him a bit but he got where he is based purely on himself.

If you guys want to see change in SA put your money on sexwale. The anc won't lose elections but with an intelligent man in charge i can only see good things.

I cannot wait to see if sexwale can unseat zuma. That is where the drama will unfold. A rich intelligent man going up against a zulu giant.

I used to think this way, but by Sexwale throwing out all his morales and values to support a guy who was destroying a country's unity and leading to racial tension, its disgusting. I mean his own wife is white and yet he is more then happy to support a guy who has been seen and heard to be overly anti-white.

If you are the type of person to throw out your values just to go further, then I personally don't want you as a president because that is what has gotten us into this mess in the first place.

The problem isn't that Sexwale want's to be president, It's that Zuma want's to be too, and underhanded dealings and backstabbing comes naturally to both, there will be collateral damage and we will feel the results not the elites.

If Sexwale bails out bigmouth, we will be guaranteed to have Zuma as the next president, no rational human would think that is a good idea and vote for . . . . . . , oh I forgot, for a moment I thought we lived . . . . , never mind.

Morals and values don't win elections, if you want to play the game you gotta be prepared to do whatever it takes to win. The anc needs to be divided and anyone who thinks that is rubbish needs their head read. What unity is there at the moment? You mean the hatred that is building because the anc is raping the country? This country will never be unified but it can be run better.

Zuma is not the worst president but he is also far from the best we could have, politics is a dirty game and sexwale is getting his hands dirty.

If we have people going up against zuma using morals and values to get ahead well they won't get anywhere. It's all about votes and you must do what has to be done to get them. All we hope is that when zuma is defeated by sexwale he returns to the man i thought he was before he supported malema, for now we need a man willing to drop them to get ahead. As sad as it sounds that is the human race for you.

Tokyo should have just bought all the shares in kfc, guaranteed win at the polls :)

It's cheaper and safer than hanging out with a rabid dog like Malema, that is known to turn on it's masters, although by the looks of things he might have followed his real masters orders to the letter.

Sexwale was behind him when he had his first disciplinary hearing. Sexwale and Winnie spoke for him. IIRC. So no big surprise. He is the human settlement minister and he favors Malema.. No nothing to worry about.

Why worry, it's not like the anc ever does anything that's not good for South-Africa . . . . . . .right ?

After his release, Sexwale returned to Johannesburg, where he served as head of the public liaison department of the African National Congress Headquarters. He was subsequently appointed the head of special projects, reporting to the ANC's military headquarters. In September 1990, he was elected as a member of the executive committee of the ANC in the Pretoria-Witwatersrand-Vereeniging (PWV) region. He became the chairperson of the ANC in the PWV region in 1991, a position he held until his resignation in late 1997.

After the South African elections in April 1994, Sexwale was elected as the first premier of the new PWV Province (renamed Gauteng Province in December 1994). In this role, he was credited with bringing peace to several politically volatile townships. Sexwale left politics for the corporate sector in 1998. The reasons for this was never made completely clear, but was reportedly due to feeling stifled by central government restrictions as well as becoming exhausted by internal African National Congress intrigues.[citation needed] Further speculation is that Tokyo left politics due to strong disagreements with the then Vice-President of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki.[citation needed] Other speculation is that his marriage opened business opportunities in the white-dominated financial sectors that allowed him opportunities not open to other black leaders.[citation needed] Tokyo Sexwale, Cyril Ramaphosa and Thabo Mbeki were possible candidates jostling for the presidency after Nelson Mandela stepped down. Once Thabo Mbeki appeared as the favourite candidate, both Sexwale and Ramaphosa left politics to follow successful careers as businessmen.

On 7 January 2007, The Sunday Times reported that Sexwale was campaigning for a leadership position within the ANC, which would have put him in position to replace Thabo Mbeki as President of South Africa in 2009. Sexwale admitted on BBC's Hard Talk that if asked to stand for the elections as party president by structures of the ANC, he would seriously consider it.[2] He was elected to the ANC's 80-member National Executive Committee in December 2007 in 10th place, with 2,198 votes.[3]

On 10 May 2009, President Jacob Zuma appointed Sexwale as Minister of Human Settlements,[4] a ministry which replaced the Department of Housing.

He left when the cancer entered.

I don't know why people question him so much. There is no doubt that he is an amazing man who would make a great president. Many people think he is just some rich anc member looking for power, they cannot see past the anc tag sadly.

Look at this BS:

It later transpired that he, along with many prominent South African anti-apartheid figures such as Nelson Mandela and South African cabinet minister Sidney Mufamadi, were still on that country's list of global terrorists

HTF could mandela and sexwale have been on that list in 2002. They were never terrorists, they were fighting for their people. They spent decades in jail but finally they walked free, i bet the first thing they did was go piss in every white area they could find :D.

Dude they plotted bombing of civilian targets. That made them terrorists.

Yup i understand that but the government who had implemented apartheid were not terrorists, those same people who dominated the blacks and did some pretty bad things to black folk were not on the list. It was not terrorism because they were not wanting to willingly kill whites, all they wanted was the right to live equally.

It seems ridiculous to think in 2002 mandela was still on the terrorism list, if they only want to kill innocent white people why is it when they got of jail mandela and sexwale preached peace and they never went on a white killing rampage? Doesn't sound like they were anything close to terrorists to me.

What would you call someone who threw a mine or a grenade into a Wimpy?

No no you are not painting the picture, you are saying they killed innocent people because they had nothing better to do. You are suggesting they woke up and decided hey we wanna kill some white folk today for no reason and that is not true.

Sadly it was a terrible situation the whites put the blacks in and i cannot blame mandela and co for trying to free their people from an oppressive regime they gave them no rights and had white only area's. Sick sick people who forced the blacks to do sick things because sick things were being done to the blacks. Tell me how wimpies have been attack since the blacks got their freedom? How many so called terrorist acts have been committed? None. Did mandela come out and slaughter the white people because you seem to paint the picture that is all they wanted to do.

That is not terrorism. What would you call what the whites did to the blacks dude? What would call all the innocent horrifying acts committed against the black population? O wait that was not terrorism right? Innocent black folk being killed was fine but a grenade in a wimpy well that is terrorism.

I will never ever plot or carry out the killing and maiming of an innocent civilian human being - on purpose - for whatever my cause might be.

Anyway I agree with you though that things will probably get better for everybody if a guy like Tokyo Sexwale manages to take over the reins as president.
