Samsung extends warranty on some of its products

Can you believe it, I bought a 46" display on the 1st of May. Very happy about this, just hope I never need it!
 
+1 to Samsung, glad to see them give us something for mahala :D.

Wrt their HDDs, was it 1 year prior?

I bought an extended warranty - surely this will now extend to 5 years?
 
Looks like their planning to take over the electronics industry.
 
Also bought a samsung led-lit tv recently. Enjoying the tv and really chuffed with this warranty extension. Nice one, Samsung.

Planning on buying a new samsung plasma as soon as there's stock so this is great news. Was going to take extended warranty. Probably still will but hopefully it will either be cheaper or the total will just be really long... As for them planning on taking over the electronics industry, I noticed that my monitor is a samsung (T260) as well as the current plasma in the lounge, the wife's S2 and Galaxy Tab 10.1.
