Hi everyone on IBURST.
this is not a joke. I am starting a class action suite against iburst and i would like unhappy ibursters to please respond to join us.

Email your details and your experiances to [email protected]

Afaik "US style class action suit" does not exist in our legal system.

my compliaint is that they refuse to respond to me and they refuse to let me cancel iburst perminatly

btw yes class action suite does exist look at the one against metrorail.

The case was argued in the constitutional court ... the issue was i.r.o their "right to safety and security" in the Bill of Rights while making use of metrorail facilities which our constitution does allow for in Section 38.

Anyone listed in this section has the right to approach a competent court, alleging that a right in the Bill of Rights has been infringed or threatened, and the court may grant appropriate relief, including a declaration of rights. The persons who may approach a court are-

1. anyone acting in their own interest;
2. anyone acting on behalf of another person who cannot act in their own name;
3. anyone acting as a member of, or in the interest of, a group or class of persons;
4. anyone acting in the public interest; and
5. an association acting in the interest of its members

Note that they did not seek any monetary relief or damages but simply a court order to force Metrorail to perform their functions according to the Bill of Rights.

A slow broadband connection simply does not fall under the Bill of Rights or is a matter for the constitutional court :).

4. anyone acting in the public interest

im doing that. i dont think the public deserves to be robbed by iburst

haha nice, I dont think its going to go anywhere. But seriously, just phone either Broadbadn Express or Iburst direct and ask to cancel, or just email them. I dont see how they can refuse you. I f they do, you can sue them or take them to court, but im pretty shure they will listen to you.

If you paid so much to install, i would rather not get rid of it, wait for the new tower, in the mean while sort something out, theres a problem with your speeds so ask them to come around and check it out. You can try BBexpr or iburst.

i have emailed them over 20 times
wat more can i do.
seriously ask my mother
she is pissed and is willing to try and **** them over

i have phone them many times and all i get is "sorry we cant help u its not our falut" thats is from both BE and Iburst
