Where can i find a IBM model m keyboard?

Hey guys,
Do you know of any place where i can buy a IBM model m keyboard. I hear the are excellent keyboards and really want to get my hands on one.

You'll have to get them to ship it to a MyUS address and you'll have to arrange it from there, but they're to go-to guys for the older M models and the variants of the same design by Lexmark and Panasonic.

You won't regret the buy. Might look a little old and tacky next to everyone's illuminated Razers and whatnot, but it is the best typing experience on the planet.

Thanks.I have looked there. They seem to be quite expensive and most have already been sold. Was hoping someone would have one that they could sell or know of a local second hand shop selling them.

I have one, but it is a PS/2 interface, and is supposedly not really compatible with USB->PS/2 adapters due to the amount of current drawn by the keyboard.

I'm happy to pass it on for a nominal amount.

Not a reason, I am sure. These old keyboards don't tolerate higher clock rate coming from USB converters. I have M-type keyboard which works well when clock is set in BIOS to 8MHz, and stops working when set to 10MHz.

Those things sell for quite a bit of cash. ;)
 
I have looked at other Mechanical Keyboards. Nothing beats the durability and feel of an old Model M :)
 
Das keyboard if you're willing to import and spend close to R2k. Superb quality and hard to beat but whether you can validate the expense is a different matter.
