Vodacom goes to sleep every half hour

I have been using a Cell C Sim for almost two years now in my modem...roaming on Vodacom Edge because I do not get a 3G Cell C signal here.

I have noticed for some time now that my downloads or uploads grind to a halt exactly every half-hour...on the hour and on the half hour using Tower number 59721.

I always thought this was because of the roaming arrangement but I do now have a Vodacom contract with Vodacom Sim and find that I get exactly the same issue.....Tower 59721 grinds to a halt for a few minutes every half hour.

Has anybody else seen something like this or should I just try logging a call with Vodacom?:wtf:
 
I would try the following to resolve your problems;
•Call 082155 for Data issues.
•Call 082111 for other than Data issues.
•Send a Email to [email protected].
•Send a PM(Personal Message) to 'VodacomData' the Vodacom Rep on this forum.
•Also try sending a PM to 'OCleroux' also from Vodacom VSP- he will also assist if able to.
