Ok... So this is getting really annoying...

Every morning at around 3 Am the alarm goes of outside the house,
I jump out bed... Muscles starts to flex to bash a robber or something, Finally I get to
to the alarm and switch it off..

Security company arrives less than 1min..

Check on the video system that everything is fine, Can't find something wrong...

I would like to know if any of you ever experienced this before??

How can one fix it??

BTW this never happened through the whole year until now...

Spirits please... :D

How long has it been happening? (you post is a bit confusing as to if it has happened before today or not)

Can you or the security company determine which zone sets it off?

Do you have an electric fence added as a alarm trigger/zone on your alarm panel?

Have you tried checking what zone it is and then replacing that PIR?

We had something like this happen erratically for a number of months and numerous visits by the installers. Eventually I found a technician to check the system out. He tightened 2 screws that held some wiring on a beam and on the control panel. Problem solved for more than a year!

If it happens repeatedly, could be some unsavory fellows trying to pull a "cry wolf" scenario. Do it for a week or 2 and then when they do attempt to break in you will put it down to the same fault.

This happened to us to, we just replaced the beam(sensor) which fixed the problem. Generally also happened at similar times of the night!

Ffs south africa has become like in the movie I Am Legend. You have to lock up at night or else the zombies gonna getcha. Lol

It stopped for one night... Then started the next night again..

We have a flat that is now occupied by some friends, Nothing happened again...

I'll see what will happen when they leave next week.

The same ting happened to us but the alarm went off every 5 min. I could not go to sleep until 4:30am and had just finished a 10 hour shift :( There was something wrong, can't remember exactly and had to rewire alarm, R1,500 or there about later ;p;
