Hi. Random users keep registering on my forum and I can't seem to stop bots/spammers from registering on my phpBB forum.

Any help would be great.

Thank you in advance.

Ar you using any kind of captcha system?

Yes, I placed the question module/captcha on there.

Which cellular network changed their colour from blue and green to red?: < This one of the questions
This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots.

Afaik the last time I checked it costs $0.04 cents to break a captcha automatically.

What could help is if you add a human test as well, i.e What device can be used to tell the time : Answer would be clock or watch. A simple question like that works well, even better if you can localize the question if it is a webpage mainly used by South Africans.

Edit : Sorry only saw your response once I had hit post. I can only suggest to try rotating the question on a weekly monthly basis.

Seen some sites only allow new registrations to post in one sub forum and that new users have to post at least 5 times to be allowed to post anywhere else.

try this maybe?

I have captchas that ppl battle with, yet I get more bots registering than I can stop. Needless to say though, only 5 of them have actually posted spam.
