VPN Connectivity Issues

I cannot for the life of me get my VPN working from the internet!

Running:
* Windows 2003 Server, SP1 (Allowing VPN Clients)
* ISA 2000 (With PPTP server / client protocols enabled)
* Hellkom Marconi 4-port Ethernet modem (Bridged-mode)
* Using No-IP Dynamic DNS

I CAN connect to the VPN server (internally) via VPN "dialup".
I CAN connect to the ADSL modem from the internet when
its console mode is enabled.

I CANNOT connect to the VPN via the intenet;
Error 678: There was no answer

Only virtual server entries in Marconi currently
is Port 3389 TCP to internal IP.

Has anyone got the above setup similar who can help?

If the router is running in bridge mode, how come you can connect to it from the internet, and why is there a virtual service? If the router is in bridge mode, the PPPoE connection to the DSL needs to be done from Windows.

You need to forward the GRE protocol to W3K for the VPN to operate, or better, run the DSL connection on the windows box
 
You also need to forward TCP/1723 to your VPN server.

So on my W2003 Server:
I need my external NIC on the ADLS modem in non-bridged mode, running 2 virtual server entries for TCP ports 3389 and 1723, respectively.

I need the ISA LAT to bridge the external NIC to my internal NIC, and open firewall rules for 3389 / 1723 for incoming connections...

I'll try this and let you know if it works...
