Property Sales ladies mile, bergvliet.

I drive down Ladies Mile often.. (Bergvliet, southern suburbs, cape town) Lately I've noticed property for sale all over the place.. what going on?... plague? crime?

I don't think the estate agents would tell the honest truth if I asked...
 
I practically live off Ladies Mile (next to Sweet Valley school), haven't noticed anything different? Crime isn't a major problem here. There's quite a few new housing developments going up though.
 
ahh.. ok... I noticed neighbourhood watch vehichles lately too, not sure if new or not... because I know break-ins in the retreat, heathfield, steenberg area are common, thought it might have spread.

Not new, BKM watch has been around for quite a while.. they have done a great job in decreasing crime in the area.. and have recently installed cameras at certain locations for vehicle tracking.

hmm... sounds safe then... I'll probably have a look at the properties being sold to be sure it's not new when I'm there again... Could just be people relocating due to fuel prices.

I stayed right there as well! :D

It's an awesome area, crime isn't an issue. I moved 2 months ago to Milnerton, the only reason being because it's closer to work.
