any headset will do, or u can use their new web-initiated call feature to call directly from your landline to another party, without the need for the 'net' or any broadband connection. rates on thier web page, varies per country. call quality is good. i use it from down under to call sa, for 1c (euro) per min.

Our USB Handset AU-100 works with not only Skype, but also Voipbuster, Net2phone, X-pro, Firefly, SJphone, eyeBeam etc over 15 different softphones, the dialer is available to download at www.skypenow.net/USB Dialer.exe This is definitely the most cost efficient option. You could press the function button left or right to choose your VoipBuster Buddies online, up or down to adjust the volume. You could use the key pad to key in the number, easy to use, like a cell phone. Whenever your skype buddy or Voipbuster buddy call you, it will ring.

Our Flash Drive Phone EU-200 has sound-card and softphone built-in, with 128MB memory capacity, weighs 30g, we could built-in VoipBuster for you, so you do not need to download the VoipBuster from the website, just plug it into your computer. The VoipBuster will pop-up automatically, you only need to input your VoipBuster user name and password. You could talk to your friend around world for free. Portable design, a real cool product for laptop users.

These two products are available for sell at www.digitalplanet.co.za and www.bidorbuy.co.za :)

i bought an el-cheapo mic/headset from a local discount warehouse in Durbs for about R5.00. Serves the purpose. But if you want to use the web-initiated dial feature then you need to sign up as a user. You will also need to buy calling credits to overcome the 1min calling limitation imposed by the system
