No surprise there I'd say.. The money is better and more crucially, the chance of advancement is better (speaking from a white persepective).
I know a lot of people don't really care for the lifestyle in the UK, but those arn't shabby wages and the lifestyle you can have with that sort of salary is vastly different to the one you'd have if you were a barman/data entry/sandwidch packer (which is what most travlers do for money)
