This morning I logged onto my home PC and there was no connection, anybody else with the same problem, Woodmead, Joburg.

Ok, Just waiting for the Jburg people to respond as well. :)

I did, rebooted the Belkin twice and rebooted the PC as well, I'll try again 2night.

I was fine this morning in Midrand, but my got disconnected at about 00:30 and could not log in (connect) again so I went to sleep. The problem my router was reporting was something about not being able to get an endpoint (or something like that)

Mine was down this morning too (through IS) - after a reboot of the modem it seemed to come back online ok.

Same here in Rivonia

Something seems to be up with SAIX this side as well.....in Rivonia..

Cant put my finger on it exactly..

Rosebank exchange is a cock up - but probably because Teklom is involved. Can't really say that it is a general fault becuase they've managed to mess my link up since 20 April

Same here, my PC rebooted itself at 23:50 last night when I was asleep and when I woke up this morning at 5:00 I had no connection.

Well, it has been running for the last week sucking easynews dry. :p

Maybe this would help:
SAIX are planning some maintenance work for the 22 and 23-25 May

From 22 May, 00:00:00 to 06:00:00
Planned maintenance will be performed on Durban, New Doornfontein, Rosebank, Pretoria, Bronberg, Barrack Street and Bellville edge routers.
All ADSL, Dialup & Leased Line customers connecting to these sites will experience intermittent service interruptions. They will attempt to keep downtime to a minimum during the planned work.

From 23 May, 10:00:00 to 25 May, 18:00:00
SAT 3 Services will be affected. They will do some planned maintenance on the SAT 3 Cable over which Saix International Infrastructure is carried. They expect no disruptions to their service as they will be switched over to the redundant paths for the planned work. They will attempt to keep downtime to a minimum during the planned work.

/hrm could explain the problems of this morning, will check to see if my line is back up again when I get home.
