South Africa’s economy is still mostly under the control of whites who held power under apartheid and the government needs to take more drastic steps to make sure the black majority can benefit from its wealth, President Jacob Zuma said on Tuesday.

So the guy living a lavish lifestyle and his buddies who are paying millions of rands towards incomplete tenders etc. etc. (our tax money by the way) has the nerve to say that there are too many poor black people.

How can this stupidity actually be happening? Am I going mad here or is this really happening?
 
So the fact that the ANC has had 18 years to sort the imbalance and failed miserably is still Apartheid's fault?

Sounds similar to the land issue.
They want it, but I doubt they'll know what to do with it, once they got it.
 
As someone else said - eternal victims. Always someone else to blame whether its Aids, Poverty, whatever.

Which demographic is kept stupid?

I don't see this changing anytime soon while the anc keeps on riding the backs of the illiterate and looting the rest of us.
 
What he really means is that most of the tax money that the ANC squanders comes from whites.
 
His Grade 5 schooling is shining through.

I'm thinking about a story I heard long ago that some only knows how to consume without hindsight. It seems to be more and more true.

All part of the play to keep the divided divided and the literate literate
 
so now we all see why JuJu was shooting his mouth off, he was testing how the masses would react and preparing us for what is to come
 
This myth that the economy and land is somehow privately owned by a bunch of white guys really needs to stop.

The reality is that the majority of business in South Africa is either owned or managed by large pension or investment funds, banks or international investors.

The biggest land owner is the government itself which has studiously avoided keeping statistics on how land ownership has changed over the last 20yrs. By some estimates, white ownership of agricultural land has reduced drastically anyway.

Zuma is just trying to save his butt.
