You guys have about 50 towers in JHB and more going up every day, you maby want to get around to putting up the eighth tower in CPT sometime?
And two of the CPT towers arent even in the area, Somerset and Stellenbosh, usefull for travel though.

I would at least hope the CPT ones are coming soon with the progress you are making.
 
I live in Irene and get a 100% signal - more than happy with iBurst. (download speed test: 859 download, 249 upload)

What I need is a bigger cap, so that I can download more goodies.

I like that Ferarri analagy that has been floating around..

Geuss Iburst is like the Ferrari of SA broadband? (well, till that stupid HSDPA came along with its ridiculous bandwidth prices and 1.8mbs to blow it on..)

They will have to invent some type of faster car *when* Iburst hits 2mb/s..:(

We NEED a cap improvent with 2mb/s!! People will ahrdly see the difference when loading a page, latency would make a MUCH bigger difference to browsing and teh percieved speed of Iburst for the typical user who doesnt go over his limit.. so why up the speed? Its not helping the guys who use it for downloads like they will most probably claim..
 
HSDPA is 1.8mbps? and have you ever seen this? i hear that in the realworld tests they have not got over 1.4mbps and that was in 'ideal' conditions. I also see iburst can do 2, 4 and even 8mbps, from what i have read about intelicell from Arraycom. Also if i were going to use hsdpa for mobile access i would not, the way intelicell works with handovers and giving you bandwidth on demand (as opposed to just spewing out in every direction) is far better than anything gsm/3G/hsdpa can offer.

Correct pro. I managed to get 1.7mbps a few times with big downloads. But I hear a lot of guys not getting near to that speed. I use my Iburst more than my 3G, but it helps alot when there is not Iburst coverage!
 
yah, I know.. but still even with anything over 1 mb/s on HSDPA the badwidth prices are still really messed up.. way worse than Iburst.
All i was saying, I know its apparently really crap, but hen alot of people dont quite get 1mb (or even 700kb) on Iburst. Usually their own fault..
