Johannesburg - The family of former president Nelson Mandela has launched a fashion label inspired by the title of Mandela's biography, Long Walk To Freedom, The Times reported on Thursday.

Mandela's daughter Zenani Mandela-Dlamini and her children said the label was not competing with the 46664 brand.

"We're not worried. Our brand is different. Ours is a family brand and we're not in competition with 46664," Mandela-Dlamini's daughter Swati told the newspaper at the label's launch in Johannesburg on Tuesday.

The Long Walk To Freedom Clothing label, would be available over the internet.

Mandela-Dlamini, and her children Swati, Zaziwe, Zozuko, and Zinhle, began working on the project two years ago, according to the newspaper.

When Madiba was in power everything seemed to be going to be ok, as soon as the other plonkers took power the whole thing started to nose dive and still is falling at a huge rate.
 
That's not a fashion label .. it's a t-shirt printing shop.

I was expecting something more like the famous Mandela-shirts & proper attire.

not really true, allegations of corruptions started under Madiba's time in office, to be honest there was nothing glamorous about his administration.
