Hey all,
Geez, good to be back playing GW again. Was out of the country for work for a week and didn't play any GW. Argh!!
Anyway, im starting to find that ive been hording weapons and I originally did this so I could have good weapons for my future chars but now ive just got too much and want to sell a few items. Is there a good list anywhere online that gives a rough guide to how much items should be sold for? I haven't got a clue what any of the stuff is worth that ive got other than the things that I actually use.
thanks, cheers

i spent about 4 hours last night trying to flog the weapons (green & gold) i dont use.
I eventually got frustrated and started selling it dirt cheap, sold 7 of em for 30k.
The last 3 i just gave to a n00b lvl8 Ranger in Ascalon, he seemed grateful enough ;)

yep, selling can b a bit of a pain...u must have a certain degree of patience, bu 4 hrs i will not waste trying to sell stuff... hell no
that's important game time :D
Pricing is a very contentious issue, some of the prices of items being flogged in Kaineng is just crazy!!!
Prices change on a daily basis, as increase and demand fluctuates.

Yup, that is the problem, the prices keep changing. So I never know how much to sell stuff for. I think from now on im only going to put effort into selling green and gold items. The rest ill practically give away (almost).

Try Augury Rock, there for some odd reason doesn't seem to be any traders there.
So you can get your msg out.

which probably means there aren't any demand.... ;)
I pretty much only sell gold and green items... some purples are really worthless

well.....i'm quite happily using www.gwonline.net 's tradiing/auction section to great effect
just make an account with them and you can start auctioning your items...
so basically you'll know which items are valuable judging by how many people bid and counter bid on it....
so the 1's you're unsure of ( gold weapons for eg.) you can set the bidding to start at say 2000gold and see what happens...
you have alot of control which is great for eg. you can set a reserve price for an item: no one else can see the reserve price but you, and if at the end of an auction on 1 of your items closes and the winning bid was say 1000gold but you had a reserve of 2000gold, you can refuse to sell the item to the winning bidder because it didnt match you required reserve.
hope it all makes sence, but i find it a great way to see what stuff is worth, as well as a great way to flog your stuff without sitting in Lions Arch or Cavalon for 30mins spamming " WTS Super cool Bow for only 800k whisp me"

Cool, thanks Dan_The_Man. Ill give it a try. sounds like a good way to figure out what is in demand and what isn't
