MTN, the signal quality is just degrading on a daily basis in Sunset Ave in Fourways. What is happening there to address the loads on the towers? EDGE signal is quite good but do not try and broswe the internet on EDGE, you will wait for more than 5 mins for google to load. According to your coverage map I should have 21 mbps 3G?? I am lucky if I get 1 bar on 3G.

Not sure if its the same area , but remember reading something in the fourways chronicle , that they had to remove a tower in fourways area due to complaints from residents of radiation and stuff. Not sure if they done that already.

im just behind fourways gardens and upstairs i get full 3g and the speeds are good but as soon as it switches to edge downstairs i get nothing... :(

Nope I did not read that, but i'm sure the people who complained weren't with MTN! In Lonehill some woman made a big whoo ha about a tower as well. I moved to Fourways about 3 months ago and up until last month the signal was acceptable.

Im very lucky to be on the first floor as well, 1-2 bars of 3G is better than NOTHING in the parking lot!

Fourways and Cedar is really bad. MTN is struggling to get access to tower sites apparently
Many of the engineers from MTN and their suppliers live around there, if the situation could be improved they would do it...

For the past week or so, I've had a terrible signal.
Takes 3 minutes for google to load and I am stuck on edge for most of the time.
Prior to this signal and speed was great. What's going on? Did a tower fall down or something?
(Fourways area)

MTN have failed quality tests as well, they really falling down the way side like the rest.

You can maybe try and get a booster and see it gives you better signal.
