The most appropriate way of honouring the sacrifices of the youth of 1976 is to ensure that the youth of South Africa remain committed to their revolutionary role of leading the fight against poverty and for the fundamental transformation of society

ajak : I couldn't agree more. The tricky thing is that in the past, the problem was clear-cut and so was the solution. Getting the populous behind it was easy. Our current problems are vastly more tricky with many aspects at play. People recognise the problem, but rarely can they understand what is required for a solution
